Jane Chin: Shemah I was wondering WHO would mention Commodus in Gladiator – I’m SO glad you did! Commodus was a complex villain. On the one hand, he is so creepy (that whole love thy sister thing), on the other hand, you feel sorry for him because he obviously has daddy issues (daddy loved Maximus more, even when Max wasn’t even daddy’s son… oh and sister loves Maximus too.)
